Hello and welcome to The Silly Shack. I hope you enjoy your stay! I have been working on this site, on and off, for a month or two, but never seem to have time to get it finished. I have finally decided just to post what I have ready, and I'll continue to add to it and modify it as I have time.
This site came about, indirectly, because of an informal newsletter I send out to friends and family around the country every couple of weeks. I love jokes, and always try to include a good one at the end of the newsletters I send. I started receiving so many comments about people liking the jokes I sent that my husband told me I should start a joke site to share the jokes with the rest of the world too. It has taken a while to get started, but I'm looking forward to adding to this site and seeing it grow. I will keep this joke site funny and clean. I will make it a place where you and your kids can read the jokes together. :)
Do you have a joke you want to share with the world? Just click on the "Submit Joke" link in the menu to send it to me to post. I haven't decided yet whether I should make a "contributor" section or just include them in the present categories, but however I decide to put them up, I will give you credit for sending them to me. You'll be famous!
I know, everybody and their dog wants you to sign a guestbook. I'll tell you what, you go take a look around the site first, and if you never laugh once, don't sign the book.
